At a height of 5 metres an oil on linen canvas measuring 10 meters in length is being created opposite a bay window. The architect, Jean-Baptiste Pietri, has designed a box that will allow the work to be embedded and protected by anti-reflective glass.
Enamel is a powdered natural material composed of different minerals, such as silica, feldspar, kaolin, metal oxides, titanium, copper carbonate, cobalt, iron oxide, manganese, tin and others. The pigments are deposited on the glass, suspended in a volatile oil. It is when the glass is tempered that the fusion with the enamels takes place.

FR : Sous une hauteur de 5m de haut, en face d’une baie vitrée, une huile sur toile de lin de 10 mètres de long est en cours de réalisation. L’architecte Jean-Baptiste Pietri a dessiné un caisson qui permettra d’encastrer l’œuvre qui sera protégée par une vitre antireflet.
